This is for you if:
- You have never gardened before or if you have done some gardening, but don’t seem able to keep on top of it.
- You want to be more self-sufficient.
- You want your children (husband/wife/yourself) to be eating more veggies.
- You want to get your hands dirty and are excited to learn new skills.
This probably isn’t for you if:
- You know everything about gardening and already have a great garden.
- You don't want to put in any work yourself. We’ll get the plants started, but you have to dig up your beds and water your vegetables.
- You have zero access to an outside area for planting.

- We don’t have a ton of space in our yard?
You would be surprised at how many delicious vegetables that you can fit into a small space. We maximize the space that you have so you will be growing your own in no time! Not sure if you have the space? Just apply and we will look at your situation. We will not sign you up if we can’t foresee you getting tremendous value out of our program. Remember - our success depends on your success!
- How much time do we need to dedicate to this?
It depends on the size of your garden. A couple of hours a week will probably do the trick! Most of the work is in the setting everything up.
- How much is this going to cost us?
It will be 200 dollars for membership during our first year. We are only accepting ten members this year and are really excited to share our love of gardening and expertise with you!
- I like the idea of gardening but don’t like all the heavy lifting. Not sure if this is for me?
There will be some activity for sure, but it doesn’t need to be heavy lifting. It is a good way to stay active and you get great satisfaction at seeing your work come to life!! We also have extra services for people who can't or don't want to do all the manual labor.
- Are there any guarantees that we get vegetables at the end of this?
While there are never any guarantees with gardening, we will be doing our very best to make sure that you are successful this year. We are always just a phone call or e-mail away. Remember, if you are not successful, then we are not successful!
- Do you have any suggestions for raised beds?
There are many different options for raised beds and a quick google search will get you on your way! If you don’t have the time/inclination, we can help you with that.
- What kind of vegetables will I be growing?
It depends on what you like! We will come up with a customized package of the food that you like to eat. Examples of things that grow well in our area are: tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, pumpkins, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn, lettuce - all kinds of good stuff!

If you want to have a garden, then you should apply. We will figure out if this is a good fit for you. If something, like a lack of raised beds is standing in your way - let us know your situation and we will help you figure it out. We offer raised bed building services among other things.
For the 2020 season we are only taking on a very small amount of members. We will be rolling this out on a much larger scale for 2021, but are currently accepting very limited applications for this season. Apply soon for a chance to be included this year.
